Ivan Trickovski 92′ minute penalty deny’s AEK Larnaca all three points as they draw to AEZ Zakakiou on Sunday evening.
AEZ took a surprise lead at the AEK Arena when Semedo’s long drive surprised the goalkeeper and gave the visitors the lead.
The team from Limassol managed to frustrate their opponents for 85 minutes of play by denying their opponents space due to their well organised back line of defence.
In the 86th minute of the game the hosts AEK got back into the game when Acoran Reyes unleashed a ferocious shot which gave AEZ goalkeeper Lenos Sofroniou absolutely no chance.
AEK continued to press for the all important second goal and AEZ holding on for their lives, but the referee gave AEK a 93 minute penalty but Ivan Trickovski couldnt beat Sofroniou from the spot and the game ended 1-1.
A point for both points which keeps AEZ happier than there opponents AEK who have suffered a major blow in there quest for this years championship bid.
