THIS chilling footage captures the moment a man was spotted casually strolling along the streets of New York while engulfed in flames.
Video posted online shows the victim seemingly on fire – but apparently unaware he was in any danger.
The nightmarish vision took a sinister turn when a bystander approached the man and asked: “Are you OK? Are you good?”
But the man says nothing.
He simply calmly removes some of his burning clothes and saunters off.
According DNAinfo, which first reported the incident, firefighters and cops were called.
But by the time they arrived the man had disappeared.
Fire investigators returned to the street in Brooklyn the next day.
It is reported that he man was taken to hospital with severe burns by his family.
It is understood smoking crack cocaine and accidentally set himself on fire after putting a burning lighter into his pocket.
This may explain why he did not feel the pain.
But the incident is similar to one that saw the late comedian Richard Pryor engulfed in flames while freebasing cocaine in LA neighbourhood in 1980.
Except he ran through the streets when caught fire in a bid to extinguish the flames.
