Two giants collide this weekend in Cyprus!

Champions APOEL will square off against AEK Larnaca on Sunday at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.

For both teams Sunday big clash is a must win, for champions APOEL its an opportunity to stamp their authority on this years Cyprus championship title race. APOEL are currently top of the table 5 points clear of second AEK and a win for Tomas Christiansen’s side could send them 8 points clear from AEK.

AEK Larnaca are coming on a terrible run of form and two disappointing draws against limassol sides Aris and AEZ which has cost them 4 valuable points in their quest for this years title. However a win on Sunday could change everything and spark the title race back into life.

Meanwhile in other games for the 22nd game of the CYTA football championship, both Limassol sides AEL and Apollon are favorites to win there respective games against AEZ and Doxa, Omonia travel to Limassol on Sunday to face Aris at the Tsireion.
