Cyprus Airways officially begin Verona, Zürich & Prague flights

Cyprus Airways revealed its inaugural flights from Larnaca to Verona, Zürich and Prague took place last week.

All three airports welcomed Cyprus Airways Airbus A319 aircraft with the ceremonial water cannon salute and welcomed official guests and passengers at the gate with traditional ribbon cutting.

Passengers flying from these airports were also surprised with an aperitif and a small gift provided by the Cypriot carrier.

“We are excited to introduce Verona, Zürich and Prague to our network,” enthused Natalia Popova, Chief Commercial Officer at Cyprus Airways.

“We are confident that these new routes will be a popular choice for Cypriot travellers, while at the same time they will contribute to the increase of tourists from Italy, Switzerland and Czech Republic visiting Cyprus.”

Flights from Larnaca to Verona operate every Wednesday and Sunday, to Zürich every Tuesday and Saturday and to Prague every Monday and Friday.

Prague Airport announced that they expect the new route to be used by almost 9,000 passengers both ways each season.
