Cyprus  leaders conclude three-hour-long informal meeting 

A three-hour-long informal meeting between the President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and the Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci concluded at 12.30pm at the residence of the Special Representative Elizabeth Spehar, in the UN-protected area of the defunct Nicosia airport. 

President Anastasiades returns to the Presidential Palace and is expected to make statements about the meeting.

Close associates of the President, including the Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides and the Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou, are at the Presidential Palace and expect to be informed by the President about the outcome of the meeting.
