Cyprus continues to bake!
High temperatures in Cyprus is not rare especially in the summer but the heatwave in Cyprus over the past couple of days has reached boiling point with temperatures not willing to drop from the 40-degree mark.
The forestry department has warned that forest fires risks are extremely high so everyone should be extremely careful.
A yellow weather warning was issued yet again by the Cyprus Metro Office and it will take place at 11 am – 5 pm today and people should be extremely careful while going outside.
Thursday will be mainly fine although some cloud is expected to form in the mountains in the afternoon.
Temperatures will rise to 41 C inland, around 35 C on the south and east coasts and around 33 C on the west and north coasts and in the mountains.
For the next few days, the weather is expected to cool down and temperatures are expected to drop in Cyprus.
