More than four thousand Frankfurt fans in Cyprus for Apollon clash

Apollon Limassol host Eintracht Frankfurt for matchday 4 of the Europa League.

According reports over four thousand German supporters will be in Nicosia on Thursday night to root their team against Cypriot side Apollon Limassol for the Europa League.

Authorities are on alert ahead of Thursday night’s game, Cyprus Police spokesperson Andreas Angelides spoke to the Cyprus Times said that German authorities are in Cyprus to help keep order for tonight’s game.

Frankfurt fans are currently enjoying their time in Cyprus and are ready to root their team to another victory over Apollon.

The Germans defeated the Cypriot side 2-0 in Germany and tonight’s clash could be Apollon’s last chance to fight for qualification to the next round of the competition.

The other Cypriot club in the Europa League have a tough task when they travel to Bulgaria to face Ludogorets.

Apollon vs Frankfurt kicks off at 8pm and AEK vs Ludogorets kicks off at 10pm.
